Jesy Nelson has revealed that she finally feels proud of her body after more than three decades of insecurity and strict dieting.
The former Little Mix star, 34, said it took becoming a mother to twin daughters — Ocean Jade and Story Monroe — to realise just how “incredible” her body truly is. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Jesy said she spent years “wishing for a flatter belly and smaller waist” but motherhood helped her see herself in a new light.

She wrote that she never imagined it would take having “two beautiful baby girls” — who were born prematurely at 31 weeks after she was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome — to make her appreciate her strength.
Sharing three stunning black-and-white photos of herself in underwear while holding her babies, Jesy admitted her body “doesn’t look how it used to”, but said she’s never been prouder. “Yes, my boobs hang lower and my belly is squishier — but my god, it created the best gift that has ever happened to me.”

Jesy urged other new mums not to feel pressured to “snap back” after giving birth. “Be kinder to yourself and remember you are incredible,” she told followers. Fans flooded her comments with praise, calling her “a beautiful role model” and thanking her for showing what “real bodies” look like post-pregnancy.
Jesy and her fiancé Zion Foster welcomed their twin daughters in May, following a difficult pregnancy and an emergency hospital procedure earlier that spring. The couple spent weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before finally bringing their babies home.

Reflecting on that experience, Jesy said the sight of her newborns surrounded by wires and tubes “broke her heart into a million pieces,” but seeing them reunited “was the most magical feeling ever.” Zion added that the ordeal had brought them closer, saying: “We’ve learned what real love means — we’re made for each other.”
